Are you fully insured to video my event?

Yes, with public liability and professional indemnity cover respectively

Will our event video be transferred to a DVD?

Transferring the video to a USB, DVD or online are the choices. Ideally I would recommend a USB (memory stick) but I'll be happy to discuss all options with you. Customers are invited to collect from my NW London address, or have your video posted by Special Delivery. Postal charges are approx. £10.00 to a UK address

What do you with the raw footage?

I hold onto the raw footage for 30 days and then delete it. I do keep one copy of the video itself. I advise clients that they should make at least two backups of the video and store them separately (and this is much easier if the video is on a USB (memory stick).

How long will it take for the video to be produced?

I always endeavour to complete the video within one month. However there maybe occasions when the lead-time is longer.

Are you a professional videographer?

I do my very best to capture the excitement, the atmosphere, and the emotion of the day in order to produce a video you will be proud to keep as a memento. But I am not a professionally trained. However Please take a moment to read a selection of comments from my clients on the testimonial page.

Do you suggest we meet you before the event?

I encourage meeting especially if you are London based. In some instances this may not be convenient and in this case communicating by telephone or email are options

Where are you based?

I am NW London based. However, I have filmed events in Portugal, Belfast, Jerusalem and Manchester.

What are your charges to produce a video?

As a guide my hourly rate ranges from £54 - £72 (filming and basic editing). Upon request I will be delighted to give you a quote specific to your event

Do I have to pay a deposit with my booking?

Once your booking has been confirmed with me and so that I can reserve the date for your event, I will require a £50 non-returnable deposit. Once paid, I will send you confirmation of this to your email address and that your chosen date is then secure and it will be held for you. The balance of the monies will be required on/before your function/event. For peace of mind, I offer a money-back guarantee if you are not happy with the video

Which you camera do you video with?

I film all events with the Canon XA30 unless otherwise stated

Do you carry a spare camera?

A back-up camera (Canon XA10) is carried to minimise problems caused by equipment failure and this is sometimes used to film certain parts of the event from a different angle. No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to any other circumstances beyond my control.

Can you video in low-light conditions?

There are several issues that arise in low-light conditions. Before confirming your booking, please let me know if this is going to the case.

Would you be able to help if I wanted my event produced professionally?

This would not pose a problem, as I also work with a professional and qualified filmmaker. However charges will reflect this upgrade.
